HISTORY
On November 18, 1966, he graduated from the Auditorium of the Faculty of Law (today the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences) of the University of Carabobo with the title of "Lawyer", the later "Doctor of Law" Leoncio Landáez Otazo, with the spirit and desire to commit to equity, justice and the common good of clients lacking adequate legal representation.
In 1969, the now Doctor of Law Nelly Arcaya Romero, spouse of Dr. Leoncio Landáez Otazo and who, like his student, shared his same concerns, including the same Teaching and Research in Criminal Law, Criminology and Law, was received as a “Lawyer”. Criminal Procedure, at the University of Carabobo, thus establishing a De facto Company, under the name LANDÁEZ & ARCAYA, ASSOCIATED LAWYERS, on the ground floor of the Sarquís Building, on Calle Comercio in the City of Valencia. After countless studies by the founding members in various universities in Europe and the United States of America, they flew to Venezuela and The Firm settled in the Torre Empresarial Building, located on Avenida Cedeño in the city of Valencia, with correspondents throughout the length and width of the country.
In 2003, Leoncio Landáez Arcaya, son of the founders, graduated as a “Lawyer”, who after gaining the experience of having worked in two international Firms, and with studies abroad, was commissioned by the Founders- of its Management in 2005, maintaining the names of the Founders, converging their name to “CONSULTING LAWYERS”; and strategically leading certain changes, commercial and personal, public and private, national and foreign.
In that same year 2005, lawyer Cesar Enrique Uzcátegui Molina joined the Firm as a member, joining the Labor Affairs Department, and began advising and representing the Firm's clients, and after several years of practice In 2010 he became a partner of the Firm, becoming involved, together with Leoncio Landaez Jr., in its management and direction.
Subsequently, in 2011, Liliana del Carmen García Viloria, after several years of working as a legal assistant of the Firm in the area of labor matters, joined as “Lawyer”, starting from the ranks of junior lawyer, passing through lawyer. Semi Senior and Senior lawyer, until becoming a Partner in 2018.
From the composition of the new company, the partners decide to relaunch the image, converting the surname “Landáez” of its founder, now into a brand, which is accompanied by the surnames of the current partners (Landaez, Uzcátegui y García), to be called “LANDAEZ, Landaez – Uzcategui – García”, which, together with the rest of the associate lawyers, legal assistants and administrative staff, maintain a track record of more than 50 years in the field of professional practice and the Legal Consulting, preserving the essence of the Mission, Vision and Values for which it was established in 1966, which allows us to proudly affirm that LANDÁEZ is a heritage with results.
