César Enrique Uzcátegui 

He is a Lawyer, graduated from the Catholic University of Táchira (UCAT); Specialist in Labor Procedural Law from the Arturo Michelena University (UAM) as the first in his promotion; Specialist in Labor Law from the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) as first in his promotion and Cum Laude honorable mention; Postgraduate in Corporate Legal Management from the Metropolitan University (UM). He participated in the Negotiation and Persuasion Program of Cambridge International Consulting at Harvard University, United States of America. He is the author of the book “The economic consequences of the employment contract”, which has been a doctrine cited in judicial rulings for the resolution of labor claims. He is also a doctoral student in Law at the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB), and a researcher and columnist, including publications in the Bulletin of the Academy of Political and Social Sciences.

​He is a partner of the LANDAEZ Firm with more than 18 years of experience in the labor area, practicing both litigation, consulting and advice to the business field, mainly in labor law, being a lawyer and consultant for a large number of companies in Venezuela, both local and transnational, in individual and collective, national and international matters, and in the resolution and representation of conflicts. He has participated in numerous negotiations of Collective Agreements, conflictive specifications, and in technical tables for the resolution of union conflicts. He has experience in negotiations with workers both individually and collectively (union), and in administrative and judicial matters (labor lawsuits). He has developed cost studies for Collective Agreement projects, expatriates and Head Count strategies, among others, and has served as legal auditor for different companies in Venezuela in matters of labor and social security.
